Claims14
A holder for manipulating a sample, the holder comprising
- a. a capturing element on a rod-like shape for attaching or capturing the sample,
- b. an adapter part having two ends, which adapter part connects to the rod-like shape at the end opposite to which the capturing element is connected, and
- c. a handle part, which connects to the adapter at the other end to which the rod-like shape is connected to the adapter, the handle part being of such shape to enable manual manipulation of the holder.
The holder according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the adapter comprises a means for connecting the rod-like shape and capturing element to the adapter.
The holder according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the handle has a diameter of at least 0.1 cm, preferably at least 0.5 cm, and a length of at least 2 cm.
The holder according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the adapter part and the handle part have a combined length of at least 3 cm, preferably of at least 5 cm and even more suitably a length of 5 to 10 cm.
The holder according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the sample is a crystalline sample.
