A first network device obtains a subnet prefix, where the subnet prefix is a destination identifier of a traffic engineering tunnel. The first network device performs data processing based on the subnet prefix.

- obtaining, by a first network device, a first subnet prefix, wherein the first subnet prefix is a destination identifier of a traffic engineering tunnel;
- and
- performing, by the first network device, data processing based on the first subnet prefix.
An apparatus, comprising:
- at least one processor;
- at least one non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program to be executed by the at least one processor, the program including instructions to:
- obtain a first subnet prefix, wherein the first subnet prefix is a destination identifier of a traffic engineering tunnel;
- and
- perform data processing based on the first subnet prefix.
