• the value of i being:
• zero if a represents nothing,
• equal to 1 if a is a single or a double bond;
• if a represents nothing, then b represents nothing and i is 0:
• R1 and R5 can represent independently of one another:
• H;
• a linear or branched alkyl or alkenyl chain of 1 to 20 carbon atoms, monocyclic, bicyclic or polycyclic of 3 to 20 carbon atoms;
• an aryl group of 1 to 20 carbons;
• R3 and R7 can represent independently of one another:
• H;
• a linear or branched alkyl or alkenyl chain of 1 to 20 carbon atoms, monocyclic, bicyclic or polycyclic of 3 to 20 carbon atoms;
• an aryl group of 1 to 20 carbonss;
• R4 can represent:
• H;
• a halogen atom
• a linear or branched alkyl or alkenyl chain of 1 to 20 carbon atoms, monocyclic, bicyclic or polycyclic of 3 to 20 carbon atoms;
• if a represents a single bond, then b represents a single bond and i is equal to 1:
• R1 can represent:
• H;
• a linear or branched alkyl or alkenyl chain of 1 to 20 carbon atoms, monocyclic, bicyclic or polycyclic of 3 to 20 carbon atoms;
• an aryl group of 1 to 20 carbonss;
• R2 can represent:
• H;
• a linear or branched alkyl or alkenyl chain of 1 to 20 carbon atoms, monocyclic, bicyclic or polycyclic of 3 to 20 carbon atoms;
• an aryl group of 1 to 20 carbons;
• R3 can represent:
• H;
• a linear or branched alkyl or alkenyl chain of 1 to 20 carbon atoms, monocyclic, bicyclic or polycyclic of 3 to 20 carbon atoms;
• an aryl group of 1 to 20 carbons;
• R5 and R7 represent nothing
• R6 represents H
• R4 is as defined above
• if a represents a double bond, then b represents a single bond and i is 1:
• R1, R5, R6 and R7 represent nothing;
• R2, R3 and R4 are as defined above.
