Abstract
The present invention provides a method for efficiently manufacturing a phosphonate ester by phosphonylating an alcohol under mild conditions, and a method for manufacturing a phosphate ester. In the method for manufacturing a phosphonate ester of the present invention, a compound represented by the formula (1) is reacted with a compound represented by the formula (2) in the presence of a zinc catalyst to obtain a compound represented by the formula (3). X represents an organic group. R1 represents an alkyl group. R2 represents an organic group.

A method for manufacturing a phosphonate ester, comprising:
- reacting a compound represented by a formula (1) with a compound represented by a formula (2) in the presence of a Zinc catalyst to obtain a compound represented by a formula (3),
- in the formulae, X represents an organic group,
- R1 represents an alkyl group that may have a fluorine atom, and
- R2 represents an organic group.
A method for manufacturing a phosphate ester, comprising:
- a first step of reacting a compound represented by a formula (1) with a compound represented by a formula (2) in the presence of a Zinc catalyst to obtain a compound represented by a formula (3);
- and
- a second step of reacting the compound represented by the formula (3) with a compound represented by a formula (8) in the presence of an oxidizing agent to obtain a compound represented by a formula (9),
- in the formulae, X represents an organic group,
- X1 represents a hydrogen atom or an organic group,
- R1 represents an alkyl group that may have a fluorine atom, and
- R2 represents an organic group.
