Abstract
Dentifrice compositions comprising water, bicarbonate salt, and glycine or a salt thereof are effective in treating dental plaque biofilm.
Claims23
A dentifrice composition comprising:
- (a) from about 15% to about 55%, by weight of the composition, of water;
- (b) from about 1% to about 60%, by weight of the composition, of bicarbonate salt;
- (c) from about 0.01% to about 10%, by weight of the composition, of neutral amino acid;
- and
- (d) from about 0.0025% to about 2%, by weight of the composition, of fluoride.
