Abstract
Provided are a method for SFC support of EDGEAPP and a device for performing the same. A service function chain support method according to an example embodiment includes receiving a service routing configuration request, constructing a service routing path in response to the service routing configuration request, and controlling forwarding of traffic by successively invoking service APIs configuring the service routing path.

A service function chain support method, the method comprising:
- receiving a service routing configuration request;
- constructing a service routing path in response to the service routing configuration request;
- and
- controlling forwarding of traffic by successively invoking service APIs configuring the service routing path.
A service function chain support method, the method comprising:
- constructing a service routing path in response to a service routing configuration request for successively invoking service APIs required by an edge application server (EAS);
- enforcing a service routing rule corresponding to the service routing path;
- and
- controlling forwarding of traffic by successively invoking service APIs configuring the service routing path.

- constructing a service routing path in response to a service routing configuration request for successively invoking service APIs required by an edge application server (EAS);

- requesting 5GC to enforce a 3GPP transport layer path to adjust traffic along the service routing path;
