A display apparatus comprising:
- an overcoat layer;
- a first color filter layer, a second color filter layer, and a third color filter layer, arranged on the overcoat layer;
- a first planarization layer arranged on the first color filter layer, the second color filter layer, and the third color filter layer;
- a second planarization layer arranged on the first planarization layer and defining a first through-hole, a second through-hole, and a third through-hole therein;
- a first quantum dot layer located in the first through-hole;
- and
- a second quantum dot layer located in the second through-hole.
A method of manufacturing a display apparatus, the method comprising:
- forming a transistor on a first carrier substrate;
- forming a first color filter layer, a second color filter layer, and a third color filter layer on the transistor;
- forming a second carrier substrate on the first color filter layer, the second color filter layer, and the third color filter layer, and then inverting the first carrier substrate;
- removing the first carrier substrate;
- forming a first quantum dot layer, a second quantum dot layer, and a light-transmitting layer, on the transistor;
- and
- forming a light-emitting device on the first quantum dot layer, the second quantum dot layer, and the light-transmitting layer.
