Abstract
An anhydrous composition including at least one silicone film former; a spherical mineral particulate, at least one silicone elastomer; at least one colorant; and at least about 60% by weight of at least one solvent is provided. The at least one silicone film former and the at least one colorant are both present in a concentration by weight such that the ratio of the concentration by weight of the at least one silicone film former to the concentration by weight of the at least one colorant is at least about 3:1.
Claims20
A cosmetic composition comprising:
- at least one silicone film former;
- a spherical mineral particulate;
- at least one silicone elastomer;
- at least one colorant;
- and
- at least about 60% by weight of at least one solvent, wherein the composition is anhydrous and wherein the at least one silicone film former and the at least one colorant are both present in a concentration by weight such that the ratio of the concentration by weight of the at least one silicone film former to the concentration by weight of the at least one colorant is at least about 3:1.
A lipstick liquid composition comprising:
- from about 2% to about 15% by weight of at least one silicone film former, wherein the at least one silicone film former comprises a polyorganosiloxane copolymer and a polyorganosiloxane copolymer;
- from about 1% to about 25% by weight of least one silicone elastomer, wherein the at least one silicone elastomer comprises a vinyl modified silicone elastomer;
- from about 60% to about 90% by weight from at least one solvent;
- at least one colorant;
- and
- a spherical mineral particulate, wherein the lipstick liquid composition is anhydrous, wherein the at least one silicone film former and the at least one colorant are both present in a concentration by weight such that the ratio of the concentration by weight of the at least one silicone film former to the concentration by weight of the at least one colorant is at least about 3:1.
A method of making up lips comprising applying to the lips a lipstick composition comprising:
- at least one silicone elastomer;
- at least one colorant;
- and
- at least about 60% by weight of at least one solvent, wherein the composition is anhydrous and wherein the at least one silicone film former and the at least one colorant are both present in a concentration by weight such that the ratio of the concentration by weight of the at least one silicone film former to the concentration by weight of the at least one colorant is at least about 3:1, and wherein the composition is anhydrous.
