Abstract
Disclosed herein as methods, apparatuses, non-transitory computer readable media, and systems for sensor calibration in at least one enclosure. The calibration may include self-calibration of the sensor, e.g., automatically. The calibration may be performed automatically at or after deployment of the sensor in the enclosure. The calibration may utilize the data of the sensor to be calibrated and/or sensor data of adjacent sensor(s) in the enclosure.
Claims23
A method for sensor calibration in a facility, comprising:
- (a) using a sensor to collect:
- (i) a first sensed data during a first duration and (ii) a second sensed data during a second duration, the first duration and the second duration occurring during a time window, the first duration having a first start time and the second duration having a second start time, wherein a time span of the first duration equal, or approximately equal, to a time span of the second duration, wherein the sensor is included in a sensor array disposed in the facility;
- (b) evaluating the first sensed data and the second sensed data to obtain optimal sensed data having a minimum variability greater than zero;
- and
- (c) assigning a baseline to the sensor by considering the optimal sensed data.

A system for sensor calibration in a facility, comprising sensors and one or more circuitries configured to perform a method comprising:
- (a) collecting, via one or more controllers, (i) a first sensed data during a first duration, and (ii) a second sensed data during a second duration, the first duration and the second duration occurring during a time window, the first duration having a first start time and the second duration having a second start time, wherein a time span of the first duration is at least approximately equal to a time span of the second duration, which first sensed data and second sensed data are collected from a sensor that is included in a sensor array disposed in the facility;
- (b) evaluating the first sensed data and the second sensed data to obtain optimal sensed data having a minimum variability that is greater than zero;
- and
- (c) assigning an optimal sensed data as a baseline to the sensor responsive to considering the optimal sensed data.

A system for calibration in a sensor community of a facility, comprising:
- a first sensor of a plurality of sensors disposed at a first location;
- a second sensor of the plurality of sensors disposed at a second location, which second sensor is operatively coupled to the first sensor, the second sensor configured to:
- (a) obtain a first reading of a first parameter from the first sensor;
- (b) receive an estimation of, or estimate, a projected value of the first parameter and generate an estimated projected value;
- (c) receive a determination, or determine, a difference between (I) the estimated projected value of the first parameter and (II) the first reading of the first parameter;
- and
- (d) receive consideration, or consider, the difference between (i) the estimated projected value of the first parameter and (ii) the first reading of the first parameter, to modify the first reading of the first parameter,
- wherein the plurality of sensors is included in a sensor array disposed in the facility.
