Cognitive-defined network management

A cognitive defined network management (CDNM) system comprising:

• a master data management subsystem comprising:
• a raw data plane interface to receive raw real-time network data from across a plurality of ingress/egress points (IEPs) of a disaggregated communication network architecture;
• and
• a multimodal artificial intelligence (AI) engine trained to normalize the raw real-time network data, as it is received, into real-time golden record data;
• an AI application subsystem coupled with the master data management subsystem and having a plurality of AI applications trained to provide network management output results based on training data models built from previously received datasets of real-time golden record data;
• and
• an orchestration subsystem, coupled with the master data management subsystem and the AI application subsystem, and configured, for each of a predefined plurality of automated network management workflows, to:
• automatically obtain one or more of the network management output results by feeding a portion of the real-time golden record data to a set of the AI applications that is associated with the automated network management workflow;
• and
• direct a set of IEPs to execute the network management workflow based on the one or more of the network management output results.
