Abstract
In some embodiments, a radio frequency identification (RFID) device may include a reactive strap may include a conductor enclosing an area and an RFID chip connected to the conductor, the conductor enclosing an area and defining a first opening, and a flexible substrate attached to the conductor and defining a second opening. The first and second openings together may define a passage through both the conductor and the flexible backing material.
Claims22
An RFID device, comprising:
- a reactive strap comprising a conductor enclosing an area and a radio frequency identification (RFID) chip connected to the conductor, the conductor enclosing an area and defining a first opening;
- and
- a flexible substrate attached to the conductor and defining a second opening,
- wherein the first and second openings together define a passage through both the conductor and the flexible backing material.
1 more element
A method of forming an RFID device, the method comprising:
- attaching a reactive strap to a flexible substrate, the reactive strap comprising a conductor enclosing an area and a radio frequency identification (RFID) chip connected to the conductor, the conductor enclosing an area and defining a first opening, and the flexible substrate being attached to the conductor and defining a second opening,
- wherein the first and second openings together define a passage through both the conductor and the flexible backing material.
