Method and device for allocating data channel resource for next-generation wireless access network

A wireless device, comprising:

• a transmitter;
• a receiver;
• and
• a controller which controls the transmitter and the receiver thereby performing operations including:
• receiving downlink control information (DCI) including time domain resource allocation information;
• receiving a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) or transmitting a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) based on a starting orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol and a number of OFDM symbols counting from the starting OFDM symbol in a slot, after receiving the DCI,
• wherein the time domain resource allocation information included in the DCI relates to row index information of an allocation table, and
• wherein the starting OFDM symbol and the number of OFDM symbols are identified based on the row index information of the allocation table.

A base station, comprising:

• a transmitter;
• a receiver;
• and
• a controller which controls the transmitter and the receiver thereby performing operations including:
• transmitting downlink control information (DCI) including time domain resource allocation information;
• and
• transmitting a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) or receiving a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) based on a starting orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol and a number of OFDM symbols counting from the starting OFDM symbol in a slot, after transmitting the DCI,
• wherein the time domain resource allocation information included in the DCI relates to row index information of an allocation table, and
• wherein the starting OFDM symbol and the number of OFDM symbols are identified based on the row index information of the allocation table.

An operation method of a base station, the method comprising:

• transmitting, by the base station, downlink control information (DCI) including time domain resource allocation information;
• transmitting, by the base station, a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) or receiving, by the base station, a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) based on a starting orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol and a number of OFDM symbols counting from the starting OFDM symbol in a slot, after transmitting the DCI,
• wherein the time domain resource allocation information included in the DCI relates to row index information of an allocation table, and
• wherein the starting OFDM symbol and the number of OFDM symbols are identified based on the row index information of the allocation table.
