An anchor assembly comprising:
- a bone anchor;
- and
- a receiver assembly configured to polyaxially engage with the bone anchor, wherein the receiver assembly comprises:
- a receiver;
- and
- a collet positioned within the receiver, the collet configured to couple the bone anchor to the receiver.

A method for assembling an anchor assembly in a subject, the anchor assembly comprising a bone anchor and a receiver assembly including a receiver and a collet, wherein the method comprises:
- coupling the collet with the bone anchor;
- positioning the collet within the receiver;
- attaching the bone anchor within a bony structure of the subject;
- and
- polyaxially engaging the receiver assembly with the bone anchor.
