Sidelink csi complexity management

A second user equipment (UE), comprising:

• a memory;
• and
• a processor coupled to the memory, wherein the processor is configured to:
• receive, from a first UE, an indication of a capability of the first UE for reporting sidelink channel state information (SL-CSI) to the second UE;
• transmit, to the first UE, a request for SL-CSI, wherein the request is based on the indication;
• and
• receive, from the first UE based on the request, a SL-CSI report.

A method of wireless communication performed by a first user equipment (UE), comprising:

• transmitting, to a second UE, an indication of a capability of the first UE for reporting sidelink channel state information (SL-CSI) to the second UE;
• receiving, from the second UE, a request for SL-CSI, wherein the request is based on the indication;
• and
• reporting, based on the request, SL-CSI to the second UE.

A method of wireless communication performed by a second user equipment (UE), comprising:

• receiving, from a first UE, an indication of a capability of the first UE for reporting sidelink channel state information (SL-CSI) to the second UE;
• transmitting, to the first UE, a request for SL-CSI, wherein the request is based on the indication;
• and
• receiving, from the first UE based on the request, a SL-CSI report.
