Abstract
A braking force control device according to one embodiment of the present disclosure is a braking force control device provided with a spool pivotally supported by a reel body, the spool on which a fishing line may be wound, a rotational speed detection unit that detects a rotational speed of the spool, a braking unit that generates a braking force to the spool, and a braking force control unit that controls the braking force of the braking unit, in which the braking force control unit adjusts the braking force according to elapsed time from when casting starts or detection information of the rotational speed detection unit.

A braking force control device comprising:
- a spool pivotally supported by a reel body, the spool on which a fishing line may be wound;
- a rotational speed detection unit that detects a rotational speed of the spool;
- a braking unit that generates a braking force to the spool;
- and
- a braking force control unit that controls the braking force of the braking unit,
- wherein the braking force control unit adjusts the braking force according to elapsed time from when casting starts or detection information of the rotational speed detection unit.
