Abstract
The present disclosure relates to specific binding agents binding to different PIVKA-II forms as compared to antibodies known so far in the art. The present disclosure also relates to methods of using the specific binding agents to detect the presence of PIVKA-II.
Claims20
A method for the production of an antibody that specifically binds to PIVKA-II characterized in that it binds to a synthetic peptide of SEQ ID NO:1, has an at least 10-fold binding preference for the peptide of SEQ ID NO:1 as compared to a synthetic peptide of SEQ ID NO:2, and binds to a synthetic peptide of SEQ ID NO:3 at least as well as compared to the peptide of SEQ ID NO:1, the method comprising culturing a host cell comprising one or more vectors, the one or more vectors comprising one or more nucleic acid molecules encoding the antibody, and isolating the antibody produced.
