In particular, the invention relates to stabilized pharmaceutical formulations comprising GLP-1 receptor agonist such as Semaglutide and a permeation enhancer and its process for preparation.

A stable pharmaceutical formulation comprising peptide or protein drug and permeation enhancers other than sodium N-(8-(2-hydroxybenzoyl) amino)caprylate (SNAC).
A stable pharmaceutical formulation comprising semaglutide, permeation enhancers other than sodium N-(8-(2-hydroxybenzoyl)amino)caprylate (SNAC) comprising 40% to 98% w/w of the composition and one or more other excipients comprising 1% to 30% w/w of the composition.
