Claims13
A recombinant Pichia kudriavzevii host cell that comprises a heterologous malonyl-CoA hydrolase, wherein the heterologous malonyl-CoA hydrolase is a mutant Pseudomonas fulva (strain 12-X) protein of UniProt ID:
- F6AA82, wherein the mutant Pseudomonas fulva protein:
- (a) comprises one or more of the mutations:
- E95N, V152A, F304R, and Q348A, or
- (b) has at least 75% sequence identity with SEQ ID NO:
- 9, and comprises one or more mutations to the amino acid(s):
- K107, L148, G170, and E367, or
- (c) has at least 75%, at least 85%, at least 90%, and at least 95% sequence identity to sequence SEQ ID NO:
