An explosive with reduced detonation performance, consisting of:
- an explosive powder that detonates with a reaction velocity of less than 6 km/s (19,685 feet per second),
- a polymer resin, and
- an inert filler.
An explosive apparatus, comprising:
- an explosive powder,
- a polymer resin, and
- an inert filler.
An explosive method, comprising the steps of:
- providing an explosive powder that detonates with a reaction velocity of less than 6 km/s (19,685 feet per second);
- providing a polymer resin;
- providing an inert filler;
- forming an admixture of a pre-cure castable explosive composition of said explosive powder, said polymer resin, and said inert filler;
- and
- forming a cast of said admixture.
