Ring Saw

A ring saw (2), comprising:

• a ring saw blade (1);
• a tool holder (5), wherein the tool holder (5) guides the ring saw blade (1) in a cutting plane (E);
• a motor (30);
• a driving wheel (6), wherein the ring saw blade (1) is drivable in the cutting plane (E) by the driving wheel (6) and wherein the driving wheel (6) is coupled to the motor (30);
• a guide roller (41) which is disposed on a first side of the cutting plane (E), wherein the ring saw blade (1) is guidable by the guide roller (41) from the first side;
• and
• a guide roll (43) which is disposed on a second side of the cutting plane (E), wherein the ring saw blade (1) is guidable by the guide roll (43) from the second side;
• wherein the guide roller (41) is mounted such that the guide roller (41) is freely rotatable about a first axis of rotation (48);
• wherein the first axis of rotation (48) slopes by 50 degrees to 80 degrees relative to the cutting plane (E).
