Claims20
Drive and locking device for transmitting torques to an operating device of a driven or stationary tool holder, the drive and locking device having a pin, a first portion of the pin being designed for form-fitting torque transmission between the drive and locking device and a tool holder and having first locking means, characterized in that a second portion of the pin has second locking means, and in that the second portion is in the form of a cylinder.
(canceled)
Operating key consisting of a drive and locking device for transmitting torques to an operating device of a driven or stationary tool holder, the drive and locking device having a pin, a first portion of the pin being designed for form-fitting torque transmission between the drive and locking device and a tool holder and having first locking means, characterized in that a second portion of the pin has second locking means, and in that the second portion is in the form of a cylinder, and a torque wrench.
Method for automated tool change in a tool holder, the method comprising the steps of:
- connecting a drive and locking device to an industrial robot or a handling device wherein the drive and locking device are for transmitting torques to an operating device of a driven or stationary tool holder, the drive and locking device having a pin, a first portion of the pin being designed for form-fitting torque transmission between the drive and locking device and a tool holder and having first locking means, characterized in that a second portion of the pin has second locking means, and in that the second portion is in the form of a cylinder;
- inserting the drive and locking device into an operating device of the tool holder;
- locking the drive and locking device to the tool holder;
- releasing the tool;
- changing the tool;
- clamping the tool;
- and
- unlocking and removing the drive and locking device from the tool holder.
