Abstract
Techniques discussed herein can facilitate multi-transmission reception point (multi-TRP) operation for new radio (NR). One example apparatus may be employed at a user equipment (UE) and may comprise one or more processors configured to transmit uplink control information (UCI) on two physical uplink control channels (PUCCHs). The two PUCCHs occupy different symbols in the same slot.

An apparatus for a user equipment (UE), comprising:
- one or more processors configured to:
- transmit uplink control information (UCI) on two physical uplink control channels (PUCCHs);
- wherein the two PUCCHs occupy different symbols in the same slot.
An apparatus for a user equipment (UE), comprising:
- one or more processors configured to:
- transmit uplink control information (UCI) on multiple uplink channels separately to multiple transmission reception points (TRPs) via an interface;
- and
- wherein the multiple uplink channels includes a first physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) carrying a first hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) acknowledgement/negative acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) feedback to one of the multiple TRPs and a second PUCCH carrying a second HARQ ACK/NACK feedback to another one of the multiple TRPs;
- and
- wherein the multiple uplink channels occupy different symbols in the same slot.

A base station (BS), comprising:
- a memory storing instructions;
- a processor operably coupled to the memory and, when executing the instructions, configured to:
- schedule uplink control information (UCI) on a first physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) and a second PUCCH communicating with a user equipment (UE);
- and
- receive the UCI on the first PUCCH and the second PUCCH;
- and
- wherein the first PUCCH and the second PUCCH occupy different symbols in the same slot;
- and
- wherein the first PUCCH carries a first hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) acknowledgement/negative acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) feedback, and the second PUCCH carries a second HARQ ACK/NACK feedback.
