A method performed by a radio network node configured to communicate with a user equipment (UE), the method comprising:

• receiving, from the UE, a radio resource control (RRC) message,
• wherein the RRC message includes radio link failure information indicating that the UE has measurement results available;
• transmitting, to the UE, a request for a report of the measurement results after receiving the RRC message;
• and
• receiving, from the UE, the report of the measurement results.

A user equipment (UE) configured to communicate with a radio network node, the UE comprising:

• a memory;
• and
• at least one hardware processor coupled to the memory,
• wherein the at least one hardware processor is configured to:
• store measurement results in a case where a radio link failure is detected by the UE;
• transmit, to the radio network node, a radio resource control (RRC) message,
• wherein the RRC message includes radio link failure information indicating that the UE has the measurement results available;
• receive, from the radio network node, a request for a report of the measurement results after transmitting the RRC message;
• and
• transmit, to the radio network node, the report of the measurement results.

A radio network node configured to communicate with a user equipment (UE), the radio network node comprising:

• a memory;
• and
• at least one hardware processor coupled to the memory,
• wherein the at least one hardware processor is configured to:
• receive, from the UE, a radio resource control (RRC) message,
• wherein the RRC message includes radio link failure information indicating that the UE has measurement results available;
• transmit, to the UE, a request for a report of the measurement results after receiving the RRC message;
• and
• receive, from the UE, the report of the measurement results.
