An information processing method executed by an information processing system, the information processing method comprising:

• storing, in a distributed manner, a plurality of divided files generated by dividing a file including data of information generated by a first user into a plurality of files;
• and
• acquiring the plurality of divided files stored in a distributed manner when a second user is authenticated to be the second user himself or herself and acquiring a file including data of information generated by the first user by restoring the acquired plurality of divided files.

A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium storing a program, the program causing a computer to execute:

• processing of storing, in a distributed manner, a plurality of divided files generated by dividing a file including data of information generated by a first user into a plurality of files;
• and
• processing of acquiring the plurality of divided files stored in a distributed manner when a second user is authenticated to be the second user himself or herself and acquiring a file including data of information generated by the first user by restoring the acquired plurality of divided files.
