Abstract
Method, systems, and apparatuses are described that transmit and/or receive video content. A request associated with an output device may be received. Based on the request and a mode of operation of the output device, a first data stream of a plurality of data streams is determined. Each of the plurality of data streams may be associated with a different adjusted version of video content that may be multidimensional and/or multi-perspective video content. Based on the first data stream, a first adjusted version of the video content may be determined. The output device may output the first adjusted version.
Claims30
An apparatus comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the apparatus to:
- receive a request associated with multidimensional video content;
- determine, based on a configuration of an output device, a first data stream, of a plurality of data streams, that comprises the multidimensional video content in a first format of a plurality of formats, wherein each of the plurality of data streams comprises the multidimensional video content in a different format of the plurality of formats;
- and
- cause the output device to output, based on the first data stream, the multidimensional video content in accordance with the first format.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed, cause a computing device to:
- receive a request associated with multidimensional video content;
- determine, based on a configuration of an output device, a first data stream, of a plurality of data streams, that comprises the multidimensional video content in a first format of a plurality of formats, wherein each of the plurality of data streams comprises the multidimensional video content in a different format of the plurality of formats;
- and
- cause the output device to output, based on the first data stream, the multidimensional video content in accordance with the first format.
A system comprising:
- an apparatus comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing instructions;
- and
- an output device comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing instructions,
- wherein the instructions stored in the memory of the apparatus, when executed by the one or more processors of the apparatus, cause the apparatus to:
- receive a request associated with multidimensional video content;
- determine, based on a configuration of an output device, a first data stream, of a plurality of data streams, that comprises the multidimensional video content in a first format of a plurality of formats, wherein each of the plurality of data streams comprises the multidimensional video content in a different format of the plurality of formats;
- and
- send, to the output device, a signal based on the first data stream, and
- wherein the instructions stored in the memory of the output device, when executed by the one or more processors of the output device, cause the output device to output, based on the signal received from the apparatus, the multidimensional video content in accordance with the first format.
