Screen projection method and electronic device

An electronic device, comprising at least one processor and a memory, wherein the memory is configured to store one or more computer programs, wherein when the one or more computer programs stored in the memory are executed by the at least one processor, the electronic device is configured to:

• detect a position of one or more other electronic devices relative to the electronic device by using a Bluetooth angle of arrival (AOA) technology;
• determine a target device from the one or more other electronic devices based on the position of the one or more other electronic devices relative to the first electronic device;
• detect a screen projection operation;
• and
• send, in response to the screen projection operation, first information to the target device, so that the target device displays or plays the first information;
• obtain a capability of the target device;
• and determine, based on the capability of the target device, first information that matches the capability.

A screen projection method, applied to a first electronic device, wherein the first electronic device enables a Bluetooth function, and the method comprises:

• detecting a position of one or more other electronic devices relative to the first electronic device by using a Bluetooth angle of arrival (AOA) technology;
• determining a target device from the one or more other electronic devices based on the position of the one or more other electronic devices relative to the first electronic device;
• detecting a screen projection operation;
• and
• sending first information to the target device in response to the screen projection operation, so that the target device displays or plays the first information;
• wherein before the sending first information to the target device in response to the screen projection operation, the method further comprises:
• obtaining a capability of the target device;
• and
• sending, to the target device based on the capability of the target device, first information that matches the capability.
