Abstract
A position measurement apparatus for measuring an absolute position of a mobile object, the position measurement apparatus includes one or more computers each including a memory and a processor configured to measure the absolute position of the mobile object based on signals transmitted from navigation satellites; measure a displacement of the mobile object from a certain position; and switching between measuring the absolute position of the mobile object and measuring the displacement of the mobile object from the certain position in accordance with a plan which is created in advance or created during movement of the mobile object.
Claims8
A position measurement apparatus for measuring an absolute position of a mobile object, the position measurement apparatus comprising:
- one or more computers each including a memory and a processor configured to:
- measure the absolute position of the mobile object based on signals transmitted from navigation satellites;
- measure a displacement of the mobile object from a certain position;
- and
- switch between measuring the absolute position of the mobile object and measuring the displacement of the mobile object from the certain position in accordance with a plan which is created in advance or created during movement of the mobile object.
A position measurement method executed by a position measurement apparatus for measuring an absolute position of a mobile object, the position measurement apparatus including one or more computers each including a memory and a processor, the method comprising:
- measuring the absolute position of the mobile object based on signals transmitted from navigation satellites;
- measuring a displacement of the mobile object from a certain position;
- and
- switching between measuring the absolute position of the mobile object and measuring the displacement of the mobile object from the certain position in accordance with a plan which is created in advance or created during movement of the mobile object.
