Systems and methods for verifying activity computer-implemented methods, systems comprising computer-readable media, and electronic devices for activity verification within a network computing environment

Non-transitory computer-readable storage media having computer-executable instructions stored thereon for activity verification within a network computing environment, wherein when executed by at least one processor the computer-executable instructions cause the at least one processor to:

• retrieve a verification requirement defining an activity within the network computing environment, a candidate verifier, and contact information for the candidate verifier;
• based on the contact information, transmit a request for participation to the candidate verifier;
• based at least in part on receipt of confirmation of participation from the candidate verifier, enroll the confirmed verifier to the verification requirement;
• receive a post-enrollment data record containing data elements relating to an observed activity that occurred within the network computing environment;
• match the observed activity to the verification requirement;
• based on the matching of the observed activity, transmit a verification request to the enrolled confirmed verifier;
• receive a verification response from the enrolled confirmed verifier;
• based on the verification response, generate a command to restrict or permit the observed activity within the network computing environment.
