Device, Method, and Graphical User Interface for Displaying Application Status Information

An electronic device, comprising:

• a display;
• a touch-sensitive surface;
• one or more processors;
• memory;
• and
• one or more programs, wherein the one or more programs are stored in the memory and configured to be executed by the one or more processors, the one or more programs including instructions for:
• concurrently displaying, on the display, a content region and a text input field that includes text entered by a user;
• while concurrently displaying the content region and the text input field that includes text entered by the user, detecting a user input to scroll content displayed in the content region;
• in response to detecting the user input to scroll the content displayed in the content region:
• scrolling the content displayed in the content region;
• and
• ceasing to display the text input field while maintaining display of the text entered by the user.

A computer readable storage medium storing one or more programs, the one or more programs comprising instructions, which when executed by an electronic device with a display and a touch-sensitive surface, cause the electronic device to:

• concurrently display, on the display, a content region and a text input field that includes text entered by a user;
• while concurrently displaying the content region and the text input field that includes text entered by the user, detect a user input to scroll content displayed in the content region;
• in response to detecting the user input to scroll the content displayed in the content region:
• scroll the content displayed in the content region;
• and
• cease to display the text input field while maintaining display of the text entered by the user.
