Abstract
Fusion proteins of C1q peptides and HMBG1 A-box or HMBG1 B-box, or C1q peptides and DWESY peptide are provided, and methods of use thereof.
Claims7
A polypeptide comprising (A) a C1q dodecamer peptide wherein the dodecamer peptide comprises KGEQGEPGAPGI (SEQ ID NO:3) or a C1q nonamer peptide wherein the nonamer peptide comprises KGEQGEPGA (SEQ ID NO:5), linked to (B) (i) a High Mobility Group Box 1 (HMGB1) A-box peptide, or (ii) a HMGB1 B-box peptide, or (iii) a DWEYS peptide, and wherein when the fusion protein comprises the HMGB1 A-box peptide it has SEQ ID NO:10, and wherein when the fusion protein comprises the DWEYS peptide it has SEQ ID NO:11.
