Radio access network node, radio terminal, and method therefor

A method for a target radio access network (RAN) node, the method comprising:

• transmitting a message to a source RAN node, the message indicating that a user equipment (UE) has successfully accessed a target cell which is one of conditional handover candidate cells, the target cell being controlled by the target RAN node;
• and
• receiving a handover cancel message including information from the source RAN node after transmitting the message, the information indicating a Cell Global Identity (CGI) of each conditional handover candidate cell to be cancelled.

A method for a user equipment (UE), the method comprising:

• transmitting a message indicating that the UE has successfully accessed a target cell which is one of conditional handover candidate cells;
• and
• after completion of a conditional handover from a source radio access network (RAN) node to a target RAN node which controls the target cell, releasing a radio resource configuration for the conditional handover candidate cells except for the target cell.
