Laundry processing apparatus

A laundry apparatus comprising:

• a drum disposed in a body;
• a motor configured to rotate the drum;
• a lifter disposed at an inner surface of the drum;
• a sensing device provided at the lifter to sense information within the drum;
• a receiver provided at the lifter;
• a transmitter disposed outside the drum to wireless provide power to the receiver;
• and
• a controller configured to receive a sensing result from the sensing device and to control the motor based on the received sensing result.

A laundry apparatus comprising:

• a drum disposed in a body;
• a motor configured to rotate the drum;
• a lifter disposed in the drum;
• at least one sensor exposed at a surface of the lifter to sense information within the drum;
• a receiver provided at the lifter to wirelessly receive power from outside the drum;
• a controller configured to receive information relating to the sensed information and to control the motor based on the received information.
