Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a method for operating an autonomously moving road user, in particular a motor vehicle. A signal relating to an external event is received, and an authorization of the road user is compared with an authorization prescribed due to the external event. Navigation parameters are restricted as a function of the comparison. The present disclosure further relates to an autonomously moving road user.

A method for operating an autonomously moving road user, the method comprising:
- receiving a signal related to an external event;
- comparing an authorization of the road user with a preconfigured authorization corresponding to the external event;
- and
- based on a result of the comparing of the authorization of the road user with the preconfigured authorization corresponding to the external event, updating a navigation parameter of a plurality of navigation parameters of the road user.

- a controller;
- a sensor;
- an input device;
- and
- an output device,
- wherein the controller is configured to:
- receive a signal related to an external event,
- compare an authorization of the road user with a preconfigured authorization corresponding to the external event, and
- based on a result of the comparing of the authorization of the road user with the preconfigured authorization corresponding to the external event, updating a navigation parameter of a plurality of navigation parameters of the road user.
