Disclosed is a cooling device, including a housing having a wall; a reservoir within the housing; a cooling material such as a liquid or gel in the reservoir; a pump within the housing; and a conduit passing adjacent the wall and through which the material is circulated by the pump from the reservoir back to the reservoir.

A wearable cooling device, comprising:
- a housing having a wall;
- a reservoir within the housing, the reservoir being configured to hold a cooling material;
- a pump within the housing;
- and
- a conduit configured to conduct at least some of the cooling material along at least part of a flow path by which cooling is circulated by the pump from the reservoir back to the reservoir.
