A terminal comprising:

• a transmitting section that transmits an uplink shared channel;
• and
• a control section that controls a reception process by assuming reception of up to a maximum number of downlink control channels for downlink control information with cyclic redundancy check (CRC) scrambled by a radio network temporary identifier (RNTI), the downlink control information scheduling an uplink shared channel that has not been transmitted.

A radio communication method for a terminal, comprising:

• transmitting an uplink shared channel;
• and
• controlling a reception process by assuming reception of up to a maximum number of downlink control channels for downlink control information with cyclic redundancy check (CRC) scrambled by a radio network temporary identifier (RNTI), the downlink control information scheduling an uplink shared channel that has not been transmitted.

A base station comprising:

• a receiving section that receives an uplink shared channel;
• and
• a control section that controls a transmission process by assuming that a terminal receives up to a maximum number of downlink control channels for downlink control information with cyclic redundancy check (CRC) scrambled by a radio network temporary identifier (RNTI), the downlink control information scheduling an uplink shared channel that has not been transmitted by the terminal.
