Abstract
This application provides an example communication method. The example method includes a terminal device obtains a first message, where the first message includes target adjustment information. The terminal device obtains a second message, where the second message includes a timing advance (TA). The terminal device adjusts an uplink sending time based on the target adjustment information and the TA.

A communication method, comprising:
- obtaining, by a terminal device, a first message, wherein the first message includes target adjustment information;
- obtaining, by the terminal device, a second message, wherein the second message includes a timing advance (TA);
- and
- adjusting, by the terminal device, an uplink sending time based on the target adjustment information and the TA.

- sending, by a network device, a first message, wherein the first message includes target adjustment information;
- and
- sending, by the network device, a second message, wherein the second message includes a timing advance (TA), and the target adjustment information and the TA are used by a terminal device to adjust an uplink sending time.
A terminal device, comprising:
- at least one processor coupled to a communication interface;
- the communication interface coupled to one or more memories;
- the one or more memories coupled to the at least one processor and storing computer-readable instructions for execution by the at least one processor to:
- obtain, through the communication interface, a first message, wherein the first message includes target adjustment information;
- obtain, through the communication interface, a second message, wherein the second message includes a timing advance (TA);
- and
- adjust an uplink sending time based on the target adjustment information and the TA that are obtained through the communication interface.
