Abstract
A terminal includes a receiving unit that receives information indicating whether each condition of one or more conditions for validating a time alignment is activated or deactivated; and a control unit that independently activates or deactivates each condition of the one or more conditions in accordance with the received information.

A terminal comprising:
- a receiving unit that receives information indicating whether each condition of one or more conditions for validating a time alignment is activated or deactivated;
- and
- a control unit that independently activates or deactivates each condition of the one or more conditions in accordance with the received information.
A terminal comprising:
- a receiving unit that receives information indicating one combination from among one or more possible combinations of one or more conditions for validating a time alignment;
- and
- a control unit that configures the one combination of the one or more conditions based on the received information.
A communication method executed by a terminal, the method comprising:
- receiving information indicating one combination from among one or more possible combinations of one or more conditions for validating a time alignment;
- and
- configuring the one combination of the one or more conditions based on the received information.
A base station comprising:
- a control unit that configures information indicating whether a condition is to be activated or deactivated, wherein the condition is to be considered by a terminal in an idle mode to determine whether to validate a time alignment;
- and
- a transmitting unit that transmits the information configured by the control unit to the terminal in the idle mode.
