Method and Apparatus for Controlling Power Consumption of Terminal, and Storage Medium

An apparatus for controlling power consumption of a terminal, comprising a memory, a processor, and a computer program stored in the memory and being executable in the processor;

• wherein the processor, when executing the program, implements operations comprising:
• recording number of times of fail connections between the terminal and an auxiliary cell group;
• and
• in response to the number of times being greater than a preset disabling threshold, controlling the terminal to disable a dual connection mode based on a power consumption adjustment policy;
• wherein the terminal is configured to communicate with a first base station and a second base station in the dual connection mode;
• the second base station is an auxiliary base station, and the auxiliary cell group is a group of serving cells associated with the auxiliary base station.

A non-transitory computer storage medium, which stores computer instructions, wherein the instructions, when being executed by a processor, implements operations comprising:

• recording number of times of fail connections between a terminal and an auxiliary cell group;
• and
• in response to the number of times being greater than a preset disabling threshold, controlling the terminal to disable a dual connection mode based on a power consumption adjustment policy;
• wherein the terminal is configured to communicate with a first base station and a second base station in the dual connection mode;
• the second base station is an auxiliary base station, and the auxiliary cell group is a group of serving cells associated with the auxiliary base station.
