Automated Stylist for Curation of Style-Conforming Outfits

An automated stylist system comprising:

• one or more processors configured to:
• receive a style definition comprising one or more rules for generating different stylings of items from distinct item types for presentation on a network-accessible site;
• generate a first plurality of groups that conform to the style definition by selecting, for each group of the first plurality of groups, a different plurality of items from the distinct item types with attributes of each item from the group complementing attributes of at least one other item from the group as specified by the one or more rules;
• present the first plurality of groups to a plurality of different users via the network-accessible site;
• track interactions that the plurality of different users have with the first plurality of groups;
• detect commonality in the interactions, wherein detecting the commonality comprises determining that the interactions focus on a subset of the first plurality of groups that have a particular set of attributes amongst the plurality of items in the subset of groups;
• and
• modify the network-accessible site to replace the first plurality of groups with a second plurality of groups, wherein each group of the second plurality of groups comprises a different plurality of items from the distinct item types that include the particular set of attributes and attributes that are in conformance with the one or more rules.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium, storing a plurality of processor-executable instructions to:

• receive a style definition comprising one or more rules for generating different stylings of items from distinct item types for presentation on a network-accessible site;
• generate a first plurality of groups that conform to the style definition by selecting, for each group of the first plurality of groups, a different plurality of items from the distinct item types with attributes of each item from the group complementing attributes of at least one other item from the group as specified by the one or more rules;
• present the first plurality of groups to a plurality of different users via the network-accessible site;
• track interactions that the plurality of different users have with the first plurality of groups;
• detect commonality in the interactions, wherein detecting the commonality comprises determining that the interactions focus on a subset of the first plurality of groups that have a particular set of attributes amongst the plurality of items in the subset of groups;
• and
• modify the network-accessible site to replace the first plurality of groups with a second plurality of groups, wherein each group of the second plurality of groups comprises a different plurality of items from the distinct item types that include the particular set of attributes and attributes that are in conformance with the one or more rules.
