Virtual display device for an interactive merchant sales environment

A communication device comprising:

• a non-transitory memory storing instructions;
• and
• one or more hardware processor coupled to the non-transitory memory and configured to read the instructions from the non-transitory memory to cause the communication device to perform operations comprising:
• transmitting, over a wireless network connection, a request for item data associated with a merchant;
• in response to the transmitting, receiving a three-dimensional (3D) virtual image and information associated with the item data requested;
• executing, by a projection module, a projection of the virtual image at a location of the communication device;
• modifying, via an input device, a location of the virtual image to another location within an environment of the communication device;
• and
• executing, via the wireless network connection, a purchase request with the merchant.

A method comprising:

• transmitting, over a wireless network connection, a request for item data associated with a merchant;
• in response to the transmitting, receiving a three-dimensional (3D) virtual image and information associated with the item data requested;
• executing, by a virtual display component, a projection of the virtual image at a location of a communication device;
• modifying, via an input device, a location of the virtual image to another location within an environment of the communication device;
• and
• executing, via the wireless network connection, a purchase request with the merchant.

A non-transitory machine-readable medium having thereon machine-readable instructions executable to cause a machine to perform operations comprising:

• transmitting, over a wireless network connection, a request for item data associated with a merchant;
• in response to the transmitting, receiving a three-dimensional (3D) virtual image and information associated with the item data requested;
• executing, by a virtual display component, a projection of the virtual image at a location of a communication device;
• modifying, via an input device, a location of the virtual image to another location within an environment of the communication device;
• and
• executing, via the wireless network connection, a purchase request with the merchant.
