Content capture across diverse sources

A system for accessing an application content, comprising:

• a storage configured to store instructions;
• a processor configured to execute the instructions and cause the processor to:
• retrieve an object structure representing a copy of an application content, the object structure comprising application data, content data, a preview snapshot of the application content captured while one or more applications was previously open and active, and a data block including at least a portion of raw digital data from the content data;
• generate a selectable digital representation of the object structure;
• and
• cause display of the generated digital representation in a graphical user interface.

A non-transitory computer readable medium comprising instructions, the instructions, when executed by a computing system, cause the computing system to:

• retrieve an object structure representing a copy of an application content, the object structure comprising application data, content data, a preview snapshot of the application content captured while one or more applications was previously open and active, and a data block including at least a portion of raw digital data from the content data;
• generate a selectable digital representation of the object structure;
• and
• cause display of the generated digital representation in a graphical user interface.
