Abstract
An objective of the present invention is to simplify generation of a program for carrying out data collection performed by a PLC and reduce the burden on an operator. The invention comprises: a device information library (111) which stores program templates corresponding to various process relating to data collection and, for each target device from which data is to be collected, device parameters corresponding to said target device; and a program generation unit (117) which generates a data collection program using program templates and device parameters corresponding to an accepted target device.
Claims20
A program generation device, which generates a data collection program enabling a programmable logic controller (PLC) to execute processing related to data collection, the program generation device comprising:
- a storage portion which stores program templates corresponding to plural processing related to the data collection and stores, for each target apparatus from which data is to be collected, apparatus parameters corresponding to the target apparatus;
- a reception portion which receives input of the target apparatus from a user;
- and
- a program generation portion which generates a data collection program for collecting data from the target apparatus by the PLC by using the program templates and the apparatus parameters corresponding to the target apparatus received by the reception portion.
A control method of a program generation device which generates a data collection program enabling a programmable logic controller (PLC) to execute processing related to data collection, wherein program templates corresponding to plural processing related to the data collection and, for each target apparatus from which data is to be collected, apparatus parameters corresponding to the target apparatus are stored in a storage portion, the control method comprising:
- a reception step of receiving input of the target apparatus from a user;
- and
- a program generation step of generating a data collection program for collecting data from the target apparatus by the PLC by using the program templates and the apparatus parameters corresponding to the target apparatus received in the reception step.
