Abstract
An organic photoconductor includes a cylindrical body having a surface on which an electrostatic latent image is to be formed, and an optical tag provided on an outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical body. The organic photoconductor may be included in a development cartridge for an image forming apparatus.
Claims15
A photoconductor, comprising:
- a cylindrical body having a surface on which an electrostatic latent image is to be formed;
- and
- an optical tag provided on an outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical body.
A method for manufacturing an photoconductor, comprising:
- providing a cylindrical body;
- applying a blocking layer along an entire length of the cylindrical body;
- applying at least one of a charge generation layer and a charge transport layer along a portion of the length of the cylindrical body;
- and
- providing an optical tag on an outer circumferential surface of a remaining portion of the length of the cylindrical body.
2 more elements
The method for manufacturing an photoconductor, wherein providing the optical tag comprises:
- applying a dye layer, a reflective layer, and a protective layer, along the remaining portion of the length of the cylindrical body, or
- applying a dielectric film, a phase change material, a reflective layer, and a protective layer, along the remaining portion of the length of the cylindrical body.
