Abstract
System and method of non-line-of-sight coating of a sand screen for use in wellbores during the production of hydrocarbon fluids from subterranean formations. The coatings can have uniformly coated internal and external surfaces.
Claims18
A downhole system comprising:
- a wellbore;
- a sand screen placed within the wellbore, wherein the sand screen comprises a component, the component comprising an interior surface and an exterior surface, and wherein the component is coated with a coating such that the coating on the interior surface and the exterior surface has a coating thickness of between 5 and 100 microns.
