Abstract
A shelving assembly includes a frame having a number of sides, the frame configured to be affixed to a surface and a deck disposed on top of the frame. A first side is configured to absorb a force of impact of an object striking the first side of the frame while preventing deformation of the frame.

A shelving assembly comprising:
- a frame having a plurality of sides, the frame configured to be affixed to a surface;
- and
- a deck disposed on top of the frame;
- wherein a first side of the plurality of sides is configured to absorb a force of impact of an object striking the first side of the frame while preventing deformation of the frame.
