A biodegradable paper laminate comprising a water-dispersible barrier against permeation.

A biodegradable barrier paper laminate comprising:
- a) a biodegradable paper layer having an outer surface and an inner surface;
- b) a first biodegradable polymeric layer having an outer surface and an inner surface, said outer surface disposed on said inner surface of said paper layer;
- c) a water-dispersible barrier layer having an outer surface and an inner surface, said outer surface disposed on said inner surface of said biodegradable polymeric layer;
- d) a second biodegradable polymeric layer having an outer surface and an inner surface, said outer surface disposed on said inner surface of said water-dispersible barrier layer.

- b) a first biodegradable polymeric layer having an outer surface and an inner surface, said outer surface disposed on said inner surface of said paper layer;
