Claims13
A structure for mounting an electronic sound generator (ESG) in a vehicle, the structure comprising:
- an ESG located inside a cowl space of a vehicle body;
- and
- a mounting bracket configured to fix the ESG to members defining the cowl space,
- wherein the mounting bracket comprises a plurality of fixation parts fixed to the members and a mounting part to which the ESG is fixed, and
- wherein fixation part of the plurality of fixation parts of the mounting bracket are fixed to a position corresponding to one side of a virtual restriction wall obtained by extending, along a longitudinal direction of the cowl space, a view volume formed by perpendicularly projecting the ESG to an inner surface of the cowl space along a vibration direction, in which the ESG fixed to the mounting part is configured to vibrate and generate a target sound, so as not to overlap the virtual restriction wall.
