Abstract
A storage rack assembly including a tailgate having a recess formed on an interior surface thereof, and a storage rack. The storage rack includes a crossbar, and a pair of support arms having a first end attached to the crossbar and an opposite second end pivotally attached to the interior surface of the tailgate. The pair of support arms are provided on opposite ends of the crossbar. The storage rack is positionable between a stowed position in which the crossbar and the pair of support arms are positioned within the recess of the tailgate, and a use position in which the crossbar and the pair of support arms are positioned out of the recess of the tailgate.

A storage rack assembly comprising:
- a tailgate having a recess formed on an interior surface thereof, the recess defined by at least one wall;
- and
- a storage rack comprising:
- a crossbar;
- and
- a pair of support arms having a first end attached to the crossbar and an opposite second end pivotally attached to the at least one wall of the tailgate, the pair of support arms provided on opposite ends of the crossbar,
- wherein the storage rack is positionable between a stowed position in which the crossbar and the pair of support arms are positioned within the recess of the tailgate, and a use position in which the crossbar and the pair of support arms are positioned out of the recess of the tailgate.
