A container trailer having a lifting apparatus, the lifting apparatus comprising a base, a crane arm, an outrigger, and a mechanical ram wherein the mechanical ram is used to position both the outrigger and the crane arm, the crane arm having a lifting end and a pivot end, the pivot end pivotally attached to the base such that the lifting end of the crane arm can be raised and lowered under force of the mechanical ram.
A container trailer having a front and a back, and having a front lifting apparatus and a back lifting apparatus, each of the lifting apparatuses comprising a base, a crane arm, an outrigger, and a mechanical ram wherein the mechanical ram is used to position both the outrigger and the crane arm, the crane arm having a lifting end and a pivot end, the pivot end pivotally attached to the base such that the lifting end of the crane arm can be raised and lowered under force of the mechanical ram.
