Method and related apparatus for application of scope in virtual environment

A device capable of applying a scope accessory in a virtual environment, comprising a memory for storing computer readable instructions and a processor in communication with the memory, the processor when executing the computer readable instructions is configured to:

• display a first environment interface, the first environment interface comprising a person perspective picture of the virtual environment observed from a person perspective of a virtual object, the virtual object holding a virtual item, the virtual item being equipped with the scope accessory, and the first environment interface further comprising a scope control;
• receive a touch operation on the scope control;
• display a second environment interface according to the touch operation, the second environment interface comprising a scope picture of the virtual environment observed by using the scope accessory;
• determine a touch duration of the touch operation in response to an end of the touch operation;
• determine a de-activation condition for the scope accessory based on the touch duration and a duration threshold;
• and
• disable the scope accessory and resuming displaying the person perspective picture in response to the de-activation condition being met.

A non-transitory storage medium for storing computer readable instructions, the computer readable instructions, when executed by a processor in a device capable of applying a scope accessory in a virtual environment, causing the processor to:

• display a first environment interface, the first environment interface comprising a person perspective picture of the virtual environment observed from a person perspective of a virtual object, the virtual object holding a virtual item, the virtual item being equipped with the scope accessory, and the first environment interface further comprising a scope control;
• receive a touch operation on the scope control;
• display a second environment interface according to the touch operation, the second environment interface comprising a scope picture of the virtual environment observed by using the scope accessory;
• determine a touch duration of the touch operation in response to an end of the touch operation;
• determine a de-activation condition for the scope accessory based on the touch duration and a duration threshold;
• and
• disable the scope accessory and resuming displaying the person perspective picture in response to the de-activation condition being met.
